LAUSD Greening Investments Update
LAUSD is excited to announce that the District is investing over $450 million in new outdoor learning environments, sustainable learning gardens, nature-based early education outdoor classrooms, and the removal of approximately 30% of asphalt paving.

LAUSD TOOK TOP HONORS IN THE LADWP 2023 SUSTAINABILITY AWARDS
1st Place in Demand Response
“We are honored to be accepting these awards as both programs support our sustainability mission and incentives, allow us to develop more energy efficiency projects, and ultimately enhance our students' sustainable learning environment,” Director of A/E Services, Energy & Sustainability Christos Chrysiliou said.
