High Performance Schools Goals:

  • Ensure a safe, healthy, and comfortable learning environment in energy and water efficient schools working with Collaborative for High Performance Schools (CHPS) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED)

5 CHPS Recognized in 2020/21

135 CHPS Recognized Projects and 7 LEED Certified Projects

Campus Ecology Goals:

  • Increase campus green space, school gardens, and outdoor learning spaces
  • Connect green spaces to STEAM learning
  • Increase permeable surfaces to encourage storm water infiltration
  • ​Reduce heat island effect

7 SEEDS gardens completed in 2020/21

Over 400 School Gardens including 12 Nature Explore and 63 SEEDS gardens
